Those of us here at Woodinville Wine Country (WWC) already know that we live in one of the happiest places around. Only now, we have the merchandise to share that happiness with the rest of the world.

Working in collaboration with Mercantile12– a wine-focused online shop that launched in February 2014 – we at WWC are now putting Woodinville, Washington on the map in terms of stylish, functional products for the wine lover and foodie in us all.

Already known as an enophilic paradise, Woodinville boasts dozens of wineries and just keeps on growing, adding wine-worthy (as well as spirits-worthy and beer-worthy) eateries to the mix.  Now, this wonderful wine destination of ours – a mere 30 minutes from Seattle, but with gorgeous local accommodations for the over-nighters, too – is featured alongside some of the top winery destinations along the Pacific Coast. With destinations such as California’s Napa, Sonoma, and Central Coast wine regions, as well as Oregon State (with a Willamette Valley regional focus), Woodinville Wine Country is in great company.

Note that Woodinville is the first region in the State of Washington to be featured, which is high praise, indeed; for Mercantile 12 only considers wine regions with proven successful tourism track records.

Janet Tupper, President and Creative Director of Mercantile 12, when asked via email why Woodinville was selected as the first Washington wine region partner, had this response:
“Sandra Lee, Woodinville Wine Country’s Executive Director, shared our vision since we met her at the Wine Tourism Conference in late 2013. Woodinville is where many wine lovers fall in love with Washington wines. We adore Washington wines, and love visiting Yakima, the Tri-Cities region, Red Mountain and especially Walla Walla – and it’s a commitment. The Washington wine industry benefits as day trippers and visitors to Seattle can take a day or two, and taste fabulous wines from 100 wonderful wineries close to town in a compact region we know as Woodinville.”

The Woodinville products – which were officially added to the Mercantile 12 portfolio in December 2015, and launched locally at Taste Washington last weekend – are chic-yet-endearing, retro-vintage keepsake products. Wine and culinary products such as aprons, dish towels, coasters, market totes, and (of course) a neoprene bottle carrier for your fave bottle of Woodinville wine … fave for the moment, at least. For, with so many fantastic Woodinville wines to choose from, the bottle to go into that carrier will likely change constantly.
(Either that, or many more bottle carriers will need to be acquired!)

These brand-new products are directly available through the Woodinville Wine Country Shop.

So get your Woodinville Wine Country merchandise today and make Woodinville your happy place!
